Le Richelain

As of June 1, 2017, this sector of the Réseau de transport métropolitain (RTM) corresponds to the territory previously served by the  CIT Le Richelain (CITLR). Regular transport and paratransit services, transit passes, fares, schedules and other policies will remain the same until further notice.

Taxibus

To serve you better, we provide a taxibus service for certain areas. Consult the schedules and routes available to you.taxibus. 

  • Certain taxibus lines are available on reservation only. 
  • Stops and schedules are fixed.
  • Spaces are reserved for taxibuses at the park-and-ride lots in La Prairie and Candiac 

Vélo-bus service

Ride the Vélo-bus with your bike, to and from the stop of your choice! This free service is available on certain off-peak lines. Buses are equipped with a bike rack for up to two regular bikes. Bikes are not allowed inside the buses. First come, first served! No reservations required. You must be able to load your bike without assistance.


Free park-and-ride lots

Two free park-and-ride lots are available, to make your trip easier.

La Prairie parking lot: Located alongside Taschereau Boulevard, opposite the Balmoral Avenue intersection in La Prairie. Available parking:

  • 553 parking spaces
  • Spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility
  • Bike racks 
  • Carpooling
  • Electrical outlets

Candiac park-and-ride lot: Located alongside Montcalm Nord Boulevard, opposite Candiac City Hall. Available parking:

  • 389 spacescases 
  • Spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility 
  • Bike rackssupports

Fares

Take advantage of free travel at any time on the local network serving the municipalities of Candiac, La Prairie and Saint-Philippe.

Free for children: Free travel on our buses:

  • at all times for children aged 5 and under when accompanied by an adult with a valid travel pass or ticket;
  • on Saturdays and Sundays for up to three children aged 12 and under when accompanied by an adult with a valid monthly pass.

Planning a weekend family outing? Purchase a one-day family pass (valid for 24 hours). Valid for one adult accompanied by one child, or two adults accompanied by four children aged 12 and under.

 

Rules for commuters

Disembarking between two stops: You can ask the driver to let you off between stops on any of our bus lines. This service is offered :

  • exclusively to women, the elderly and people with reduced mobility travelling alone in the evening;
  • after 7:30 p.m. from September to April for pregnant women, the elderly and people with reduced mobility;
  • after 8:30 p.m. from May to August for pregnant women, the elderly and people with reduced mobility.

The driver will stop the bus at the safest point, as close as possible to the desired location.



 

You may be entitled to door-to-door public paratransit. This service is provided by TARSO. You can commute by regular taxi, paratransit or minibus depending on your needs and on the resources available at the time you request the service. Consult the eligibility criteria.

 

Territory served

Transit is available in the following territories:

    • Candiac
    • La Prairie
    • Saint-Philippe
    • Saint-Mathieu
    • Delson
    • Saint-Constant
    • Sainte-Catherine

Off-territory: The service is also available outside the zone usually served between 6:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. from Monday to Sunday.


Reserve, modify or cancel your commute

Reservations can be booked with the Reservation Centre between 8:30 a.m. and 12 (noon) and between 1:00 and 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Service unavailable on weekends and statutory holidays. You need to reserve with the attendant or by voice mail, before 12 (noon) on the day before your commute. For any travel arrangements on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, you need to book your reservation by noon on the preceding Friday. To reserve, call:
