As of June 1, 2017, this sector of the Réseau de transport métropolitain (RTM) corresponds to the territory previously served by the CIT Vallée du Richelieu. Regular transport and paratransit services, transit passes, fares, schedules and other policies will remain the same until further notice.
To serve you better, a taxibus service (booked in advance) is available on reservation. You will need to register for the service in order to be permitted to reserve a taxibus at the stop of your choice. The stop you choose is usually the one closest to your point of departure. The taxibus will arrive there at the time specified, provided it is within the schedule. During such commutes, the taxibus may be boarding other passengers who reserved a commute on the same line, so there is no point in waiting at a stop without a reservation. Any rules regarding passenger conduct on a bus also apply to the taxibus service:
Register free of charge by reporting to the service centre. When you sign up, you will be given an OPUS card registered to your name. To sign up for lines T-61 and T-62, fill out the form to that effect, which is available either from Saint-Hyacinthe city hall, at 700 av. de l’Hôtel-de-Ville, or online.
Reservations, cancellations or changes
You must reserve your trip through the service centre by 12 (noon) the day before. If these are regular commutes (at the same time and day), you may reserve several trips at once. No service is provided on statutory holidays. On each reservation, please enter the following:
To cancel or change a reservation, contact the Centre de services at least an hour ahead of time. If you forget or show up late, a five-dollar ($5) penalty will be applied to your next commute. The penalty will have to be paid to the driver. After three unpaid penalties, your OPUS card will be suspended.
