Food drives and other charity initiatives on the North Shore during the holidays

With families going hungry and demand soaring at food banks, several associations asked us if we could lend a hand. Of course we agreed. Here are the initiatives on the North Shore.

Moisson Laurentides

When: December 5 to 7
What: The Media Food Drive
Where: Rosemère, Sainte-Thérèse, Blainville, Mirabel and Saint-Jérôme Stations as well as the Terrebonne Terminal

Moisson Montréal

When: November 21
What: Collection of donations for the Holiday Train
Where: Beaconsfield and Montréal-Ouest Stations

Le Giboyeux

When: December 5
What: A Christmas meal at a sugar shack organized by the City of Saint-Jérôme in collaboration with employees from the Department of Wildlife
Where: Bouvrette Sugar Shack  in Saint-Jérôme

We’ll be providing a free shuttle to get to the event. There will be two departures and two returns, for the two meal services.
