1. Winter magic in the heart of Montréal

Once again, the Quartier des Spectacles is celebrating the winter and providing us with a healthy dose of light therapy thanks to its luminous interactive artworks. And for those who want to get active to warm up, bring your skates and take advantage of the big rink on the esplanade.

2. Centre de la nature in Laval

The Centre de la nature is chock-full of activities! Whether skating on the lake, tubing or cross-country skiing, or hiking on the numerous enchanting trails, there’s something for the whole family!

To get there:  From De la Concorde Station, take bus line 42 (STL) and walk 10 minutes.

3. Hike the trails of the peninsula

With trails from 3 to 6.2 km, lovers of hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing will be in paradise! Plus, leashed dogs are allowed on the trails, so every family member, even the most furry, is welcome.

4. The ice ring in Saint-Constant

The ice ring at the Pavillon de la biodiversité is a magical place where visitors of all ages can enjoy a skate in a beautiful setting.

5. Skating at Parc Ducharme

Located on the South Shore of Montréal, Parc Ducharme in Sainte-Thérèse has a big, illuminated skating loop that’s approximately 1.4 kilometres long. You can also play a game of hockey if you wish. Be sure to bring along your helmet to take part.

To get there:  Sainte-Thérèse Station and bus line 9.
