Would you like to shelter your bike from inclement weather before using public transport? You can!

Two secure bike shelter projects are now offered in Greater Montréal.

It’s practical... all year long!

NEW - The Bikezone – Terminus Sainte-Julie

This Bikezone is located in the Terminus Sainte-Julie. Registration is free and open to all public transit users.

This Bikezone:

  • is offered as part of the partnership between the RTM and Ville de Sainte-Julie
  • has a total of 76 spaces
  • is for standard two-wheel bikes
  • is accessible 23 hours a day (closed from 3 to 4 a.m. for maintenance), 7 days a week, 365 days a year

The access key is activated on an OPUS card registered in the name of the subscriber. Use of the Bikezone is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Upon receiving your application, a customer service agent will contact you to confirm your registration and activate your OPUS card..

The Bikezone at Longueuil

This Bikezone, developed in collaboration with the Université de Sherbrooke and the City of Longueuil, is located on the university’s premises and is adjacent to the Longueuil terminal. Registration is free and reserved for OPUS+ and OPUS+ entreprise members.

This Bikezone:

  • offers secure access from Place Charles-Le Moyne 
  • features 80 easy-to-use bike racks on two levels
  • is for standard two-wheel bikes
  • is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year

Access keys are non-transferable.

The Bikezone at Deux-Montagnes station

This Bikezone is located in the Deux-Montagnes station park-and-ride lot. Registration is free and reserved for users with an OPUS+ and OPUS+ entreprise members.

This Bikezone:

  • features a sliding door that opens automatically
  • has a total of 78 spaces
  • is for standard two-wheel bikes
  • is accessible 23 hours a day (closed from 3 to 4 a.m. for maintenance), 7 days a week, 365 days a year

Access keys are non-transferable.

The STM bike shelter

The STM is also testing out a secure bike shelter. It is located at the Lionel-Groulx metro station and can be accessed using an OPUS card loaded with a special fare. To find out more, visit the STM website.
