La Presqu'Île

As of June 1, 2017, this sector of the Réseau de transport métropolitain (RTM) corresponds to the territory previously served by the CIT La Presqu'Île (CITPI). Regular transport and paratransit services, transit passes, fares, schedules and other policies will remain the same until further notice. 

 

Vélo-bus

Cycling to work, to school or to discover new places? The Vélo-bus makes your bike trip easier! This service is available free of charge for passengers with a valid transit pass or ticket. Board with your bike at the stop of your choice. This service is available for:

  • Bus lines 7, 15, 35, 91 and 335: Mount your bike on the rack at the front of the bus.
  • Line A-40 Express: Stow your bike in the luggage compartment.

Bikes are not allowed on minibuses, howeverne.


Fares

Free for children: les enfants: Children aged 11 and under travel free when accompanied by an adult with a valid travel pass or ticket. Maximum of 5 children per adult.


Rules for commuters 

Disembarking between stops: To ensure your safety, this service is offered across the network to passengers travelling alone after 8 p.m. You must tell the driver, ahead of time, where you would like to get off the bus. The driver will stop the bus at the safest point, as close to the desired location as possible.



 

You may be entitled to door-to-door public paratransit. This service is provided by  Transport Soleil. You can commute by regular taxi, paratransit or minibus depending on your needs and on the resources available at the time you request the service. Consult eligibility criteria.

 

Territory served

More than fifteen cities and municipalities have paratransit service. Consult the municipalities where the service is available


Reserve, modify or cancel your commutemodifier 

To make a reservation, contact us at least 24 hours ahead of time at 450 424-0744 between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on weekdays. The voice mail does not accept reservation messages. Your reservation will not be recorded.

Travel may only take place within the following periods of time: 

  • Monday to Wednesday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Thursday to Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • No service available on Sunday and  statutory holidays.

Any requests for off-territory travel must be combined with those of other users.

Cancellation: If you need to cancel a reservation, please do so as soon as possible. This will free up the space for another commuter. Cancellations are accepted on the answering machine up to an hour before the scheduled time. In the event of cancellation or delay outside regular office hours (Saturday and evening commuting) contact us via the service line at 514 -449-2654.

Off-territory travel: For your travel reservation to be accepted, you must have a reason that is medical, educational (primary, secondary and private educational institutions are under the jurisdiction of school boards, however) or professional in nature.

  • Greater metropolitan area:  Reservation by telephone at least 5 days ahead of time;
  • Salaberry-de-Valleyfield area: Reservation by telephone at least 2 days ahead of time.
